The opposition is united over unpredicted demonetization move of BJP government and preparing for an onslaught on government during winter session which is going to be held this week in Parliament.
However, Partners have supported BJP government while greeting its decision of abolishment denomination currency of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes. After meeting with NDA leaders, Bihar ally Ram Vilas Paswan said “When a new home is built, there is dust but construction doesn’t stop,” It was held immediately after Prime Minister Narendra Modi met BJP politicians and said that the country is with the government on the currency ban.
All the ally parties are with the BJP government against black money
“At the meeting, all the party leaders have in one voice praised the leadership quality of PM Modi with regard to the decision to have surgical strikes and with the regard to is revolutionary, a brave decision of a war against corruption and black money, said senior union minister Venkaiah Naidu after the meeting.
He further said people are standing in “ATM and Bank” queues for hours. It’s a historic decision and we are happy to be a part of it. Although, earlier ally Shive Sena criticized Government action of demonetization, but today its Rajya Sabha leader Sanjay Raut said, “The government has right to take steps to control black money and we are with the BJP government.
The move of scrapping denomination currency would impact on election funding just ahead of assembly election in Punjab, the Akali Dal was also expected to raise its voice on this matter, however, the party leader Sukhdev Singh backing party said all moves against the corruption”.
Opposition is completely against demonetization
Shortly before the BJP and then the NDA met, the congress called a meeting of opposition parties to make a strategy to tackle government on the currency ban. Trinamool Congress and the left shook hands in which they decided to launch a combined attack on government. TMC Chief, West Bengal Chief Minister has already against the government action and demanding to revoke it.
On the other hand, the government has cleared that it won’t step back from its move. PM Modi promise to the nation in his recent address that all the problems will be solved within 50 days which has occurred due to government’s sudden action.
