Famous film director Karan Johar on Thursday met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh related the release of his next movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Producers Mukesh Bhatt and Siddharth Roy Kapur were also with him. According to Mukesh Bhatt , Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has assured us 100% support and that he will convey to every state to maintain law and order.
Karan and his co-team members are concerned about his upcoming movie, hence they met Home Minister to discuss the security for the film, featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan among others. The movie is all set to release on October 28.
After escalating, tensions between Indian and Pakistan, many political parties including Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have been demanding a complete ban on Karan Johar’s film that stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma.
Johan condemns terror and expressed his pain
Johar’s earlier statement through a video in which he expressed a deep sense of hurt and pain by the charge of being anti-national. “I condemn terror in the strongest terms, I respect our Army, for me, the country comes first,” the 44-year-old said. “The reason why I remained silent is because of a deep sense of pain,” he added.

Johar started his career inBollywoodd with the blockbuster romance “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” added, “The best way to express your patriotism is to spread love and that’s all I have ever tried to do through my work and cinema.” said Karan
Bengal comes forward in his support
The renowned director Shyam Benegal has also come out in support of Karan and his film. He said that his patriotism is not be doubted. Karan chose the actors because of their talent not because of the nation they belong.
The reason not to release the movie is very wrong to make him suffer. The MNS after imposing the ban on artistes from the neighboring country in a wake of terror attack in Uri led by Pakistan had clearly threatened the theater’s owners if they screen the movie.
