Mr India 2016 Winner: Bengaluru Boy Vishnu Raj S Menon announced as the winner of this year’s Male beauty pageant Peter England Mr India 2016 title. Altamash Faraz was named the second runner-up while Viren Barman got the first runner-up award.
The winner of Mr India 2016 was announced on Thursday night in Mumbai in a grand ceremony, which saw the presence of Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and Rohit Khandelwal, this year’s Mr World Winner.
Hrithik Roshan, in a star-studded event last night, announced the winner of Peter England Mr India World 2016 – Vishnu Raj S Menon, from Bengaluru. Viren Barman and Altamash Faraz, both from Delhi, were announced as the first and the second runners-up respectively at the finale of the pageant.

Speaking to the media on the same, the actor said, “I am very inspired. This competition is not just about looks. This shows lots of characters. These people, while doing their jobs, took out time and disciplined themselves to reach this far. I think that is commendable. I think, if they can achieve this, they can achieve whatever they want in life.”
Menon succeeds Mr India 2015 winner Rohit Khandelwal, who is currently Mr World 2016. The Mr India 2016 winner will represent India at the Mr World 2017 male beauty pageant, which is organised by the Miss World Organization.

About the Event:
Mr India 2016 was a gala in Mumbai and held as a grand event. With the hopes to participate in the grand event, more than 10,000 men had sent their entries for the Mr India 2016 competition. Out of the total number of entries, the organisers selected the top contestants who were mentored by Prasad Bidapa, show director, Nivedita Saboo, fashion director, Amit Khanna, fashion photographer, and Abbas Ali, celebrity fitness trainer.
