Reliance Jio effects : There was a long waiting list outside Reliance stores across the country just to avail the SIM card for making use of Jio Welcome Offer.

The demand is higher in the rural areas as for them VoLTE equals free calls. These are price sensitive areas which explain the keen interest that the people are showing in the VoLTE supported devices. Hence, the Tier 3 and 4 areas are demanding much VoLTE supported devices as compared to Tier 1 and 2 areas.

According to another report which surfaced on the internet, Jio might launch a feature phone in the coming year. The reason behind this is that many people prefer a feature phone over a basic smartphone. To fulfil the needs of that segment, Jio will launch a feature phone.
