It is popular because of the top notch specifications like Snapdragon 821. However, it seems like the key feature of the SD821 has been given a miss by OnePlus as the phone lacks Daydream VR.

This shocking information was revealed at a OnePlus’s Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) event. It is rather very shocking because many people were actually looking forward to purchasing this phone.There were not many reasons for the existing OnePlus 3 users to upgrade to OnePlus 3T. SD821 was expected to support Google Daydream VR but it looks like that is not the case.

To recall, OnePlus 3T outperforms all these phones without breaking a sweat. Why OnePlus skipped the support is beyond my comprehension.
