An FIR filed against Mitesh Patel by BJP for obscenity and other charges alleging he hurt the sentiments of BJP and public with the cartoon.
A picture was shared on tweeter by Mitesh Patel on Thursday over the trolling of Gurmehar Kaur for initiating a social media campaign against ABVP. The picture also included the names of Cricketer Virendra Sehwag, actor Randeep Hooda, Babita Phogat, Geeta Phogat, Anupam Kher and Barkha Dutt as well. From media to law, everybody was seen wearing the face of PM Modi and ABVP was shown raping Gurmehar.
Mitesh said why not BJP files FIRs against those who threatened Gurmehar to rape
The Twitter account of the Mitesh was suspended. Not only BJP members but some users also lodged a complaint against Patel. The police have also imposed section 125 of Representation of People Act and 67 A of IT act.
While reacting on FIRs, accused Mitesh Patel said, “Across the Country! I would have loved if Narendra Modi had filed FIRs against those who threatened to rape Martyr’s daughter. Anyways.”
