Reliance Retail is looking forward to taking over the mobile manufacturers like Lava, Karbonn and for that purpose, the company is launching the lower budget devices now. Now LYF has expanded its series of smartphones and launched the LYF F8 phone in India. The LYF F8 phone is available on the company’s retails stores at Rs 4,199.
Specifications of LYF F8 Smartphone
Display: Talking about the specifications, the LYF F8 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution.
Processor: The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, running at 1.3GHz and is backed by 1GB RAM.
Storage: The smartphone comes with the 8GB internal storage and that is further expandable up to 128GB using microSD card.
Camera: The latest Lyf phone comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash. It also carries a 5-megapixel snapper on the front.
Battery: The phone comes with a 2,000mAh battery.
Connectivity and other features of LYF F8
The Lyf F8 is a dual-SIM phone and also supports 4G VoLTE connectivity, a technology that has become a sought out feature in most phones since the launch of Reliance Jio services.
Other connectivity options in the LYF F8 are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, and GPS. The Smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The phone also comes with the “Swift gesture control”, a feature that allows gesture control for the camera app, music player and other apps from the lock screen.
However, the brand has come into the controversies when Tanvir Sadiq, political secretary to the president of Jammu & Kashmir National Congress, posted photos of a burned Lyf phone. Then the mobile phone becomes a talking point of the town.
