The Voice of India Kids Winner: UP’s Nishtha Sharma wins the popular singing competition, The Voice of India Kids 2016 season 1 trophy. The other two finalists were Kavya Lamaye(from Neeti Mohan’s team) and Pooja Insa(from Shaan’s team). Nishtha Sharma was from Neeti Mohan’s team.
The show had started with 94 contestants mentored by singers Neeti Mohan, Shaan and the music director, Shekhar. The contestants were divided into three groups each under the guidance of Neeti Mohan, Shaan and Shekhar.

The 10-year-old winner Nishtha received a sum of Rs 25,00,000 apart from the trophy and the recording contract from the very famous Universal Studios. Pooja Insa and Kavya Lamaye, the runner-ups were awarded a sum of Rs 10,00,000.
In the finale episode, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma appeared as the celebrity guests. The finale episode was a super fun event as the host, Sugandha Mishra added a fun element to the show with her never ending jokes and the stage was rocked by the finalists by their superb performances.
The winner, Nishtha couldn’t seem to bound her happiness as she felt like being on Cloud Nine on winning the show. Nishtha Hails from a music background, both her parents are music teachers and her brother too is pursuing music. Well, that says a lot about Nishtha’s singing skills and her victory in the show.
