Ever heard about free home delivery? Obviously, you must have. Free delivery of food, Cash on Delivery when purchasing from electronic stores like Amazon, Flipkart etc are leading examples of free home delivery. But have you ever heard about the free home delivery of SIM cards? No? Neither had we but then Jio was not there to do so. In another surprising innovation, Jio SIM at your doorstep service has started. We do not need to say anything else as the name itself is self-explanatory.

5 Steps to get Jio SIM at your doorstep

  1. Generate barcode from the MyJio app. Find the complete guide on how to do so over here.
  2. Visit the official Jio website by clicking the link – jio.com
  3. The site will check your location. If you are in one of the selected cities where the delivery service has started, you will be redirected to a new page where you will be asked to fill in your details. These include your name, address, contact number etc.
  4. A Jio Executive will contact you and come to your home. But before he comes, make sure that you have the following things: – Aadhar card, 4G smartphone and a Barcode generated by MyJio app for the Jio Welcome offer. (You can find the steps to generate the barcode over here)
  5. When the executive will arrive, he will ask for your Aadhar card details and take your fingerprints for the eKYC verification. Once you are done with the verification, submit your Jio Welcome Offer code and you are good to go!

Your Jio SIM will be activated within 15 minutes and you can enjoy the free Jio services as much as you want. There also have been some reports recently which say that the Jio Welcome Offer will be extended till 31st March. Free SIM getting delivered at your doorstep, free services till 31st March, what else can you possibly ask for?

What else?

The Jio SIM at your doorstep service is currently restricted to only selected cities. These include Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. It will reach other cities very soon.

Jio has developed a huge user base prior to its commercial launch. They had a record 16 million customers in less than a month. This number has now surpassed 24 million and is still rising. Such a huge user base has resulted in a slower internet speed. Jio is its testing phase and hopefully, it will get better.

This is how you get Jio SIM at your doorstep. Stay connected for more tech updates from around the world.
