- Generate barcode from the MyJio app. Find the complete guide on how to do so over here.
- Visit the official Jio website by clicking the link – jio.com
- The site will check your location. If you are in one of the selected cities where the delivery service has started, you will be redirected to a new page where you will be asked to fill in your details. These include your name, address, contact number etc.
- A Jio Executive will contact you and come to your home. But before he comes, make sure that you have the following things: – Aadhar card, 4G smartphone and a Barcode generated by MyJio app for the Jio Welcome offer. (You can find the steps to generate the barcode over here)
- When the executive will arrive, he will ask for your Aadhar card details and take your fingerprints for the eKYC verification. Once you are done with the verification, submit your Jio Welcome Offer code and you are good to go!
Your Jio SIM will be activated within 15 minutes and you can enjoy the free Jio services as much as you want. There also have been some reports recently which say that the Jio Welcome Offer will be extended till 31st March.
